REGISTRATION |
Jerry Sedgewick, along with invited experts, will come to your location to give seminars and workshops. At each location, 3 options are provided: 3-hour and 1-day seminars, along with 4-day workshops. Everything is done by Jerry: rental of a recommended space for the seminars/workshops, notification of the event to the larger scientific community, registration, provision of our own laptop projectors (but not sound amplification equipment) and we provide beverages and light snacks for the 1- and 4-Day workshops (seminars and workshops do NOT include lunch). What is required of your institution: 1. The seminars/workshop event must be sponsored by a microscopy core facility (preferably the facility most used by your institution, and preferably a light microscopy facility). Dates of the events, including the day of the week (e.g., "Wednesday, July 23"). If desired, Jerry will give a lecture (gratis) on Digital Imaging Ethics to your University community the day before the first seminar occurs at a time and location convenient for you. Ethics is of crucial importance to institutions, and researchers from all parts of the world need to be on the same page! We make assumptions that co-workers and employees share the same values, but that may not be true. Contact Jerry if you are interested: sedge (at) usfamily (dot) com. |
